“Division, Unity, Hardship, and Progress”
A Museum of Disability History in the United States
During the 2017-18 school year, my 11th grade US History students conceived of, curated, and constructed a museum of disability history. The exhibit was housed at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham and ran from May 2018 to 2019. The exhibit attracted national attention.
